On 5th-6th May, VM Co-Programme Director Dr Grant Christopher participated in a workshop hosted by ETH Zurich, titled Inspection and Inference: Theories and Tools of Nuclear Arms Control Verification. Dr Christopher presented research on Irreversibility of Nuclear Disarmament alongside other arms control and disarmament researchers.
The workshop brought together interdisciplinary researchers, including historians, political scientists and technical experts covering nuclear weapons and emerging technologies. The broad range of researchers and topics was designed to foster new thinking and approaches at a particularly difficult time for arms control and disarmament.
