As part of VERTIC’s work on irreversibility of nuclear disarmament (IND), VERTIC has published alongside consortium partners in a special issue of the Journal for Peace and Nuclear ‘Disarmament. The Special Issue contains publications from a 2022-2023 project with Kings College London, The European Leadership Network, CSIS and VERTIC funded by the UK Government Counterproliferation and Arms Control Centre. VERTIC’s commentary article, titled ‘The Role of Verification in Supporting Irreversible Nuclear Disarmament‘ examines the links between verification and irreversibility.
