VERTIC is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the The Open Nuclear Network (ONN), a programme of the One Earth Future Foundation (OEF). The ONN-VERTIC partnership strives to ensure that the strengths of both parties are leveraged to amplify organizations’ reach, impact and efforts.
The two organizations have agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will enhance collaboration to facilitate joint fundraising efforts, sharing of information and project development in line with VERTIC’s focus on implementation, verification and compliance across non-proliferation, disarmament and security, and with ONN’s mission of nuclear risk assessment and prevention or intervention.
About ONN
The OEF is an operating foundation that designs and implements innovative peacebuilding programs worldwide. The OEF works with communities affected by conflict to eliminate the root causes of war. The foundation has offices and operations in Africa, North and South America, and Europe. The ONN is an OEF programme operated and managed by OEF’s independent subsidiary organization in Europe, One Earth Future Austria. The ONN is designed to assess the evolution of nuclear risks worldwide, initially focusing on Northeast Asia, utilizing open-source information tools, such as knowledge platforms, data centres, and overhead imagery. It designs, promotes, or implements tailored risk prevention or intervention projects based on its risk assessments.
