December 2nd 2020 saw the launch of the VERTIC Webinar Series with a session on ‘Getting into Nuclear Policy’, with guest speakers Dr. Bonnie Jenkins, Marion Messmer and Adina Pintilie.
Spanning policy, technology, law and other disciplines, the nuclear policy field needs people with a variety of expertise: and fast. Our first webinar brought together a panel of experts from different parts of the community at different stages in their careers to provide participants with honest advice, and answer their questions.
The event, chaired by Assistant Researcher Anuradha Damale, touched on issues including mentorship, cost, inclusivity, and pathways in careers.
