NIM Senior Legal Officer participates in GPWG
NIM Senior Legal Officer Sonia Drobysz participated in the Global Partnership Working Group on 31 January – 2 February in Ottawa, Canada.
As 2018 G7 President, Canada hosted the event which included meetings of the G7 Non-proliferation Directors Group (NPDG), the G7-led Global Partnership Working Group (GPWG) and related working groups, and the G7 Nuclear Safety and Security Group (NSSG). The purpose of this series of meetings was to facilitate peer-to-peer and group discussions organised around common key themes and priorities and to serve as a starting point for a productive and constructive year for these G7 working groups in 2018.
Sonia attended the GPWG opening plenary, joint GP and NPDG working session, biological and chemical security working groups meetings, and C,B, RN sub-working group meeting.
