VERTIC and the Gulf Research Center in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates, held a joint seminar on 'Laying the foundations
for a WMDFZ in the Gulf: approaches to national legislation for WMD agreements'
in Dubai on 2-3 May 2006. Representatives from all nine Gulf states and
the major NBC treaty organizations participated, along with GRC and VERTIC
staff.
