New blog post: The 'P5 Process' Returns to London
States parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) will be meeting in New York in April to review and discuss the operation of the Treaty. Few expect that this review will be overwhelmingly positive. The five Nuclear Weapon States (NWS) under the NPT - the US, Russia, China, France, and the UK - will meet this week under the 'P5 Process' to prepare for April's Review Conference.
