The Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations hosted the meeting, chaired by Ms May-Elin Stener, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Norway.

Other panellists included Tim Caughley, a Resident Senior Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. His introduction presented a recent Institute study on the topic.
