States may find it useful to refer to model laws and provisions in drafting national implementation measures to inform their drafting procedures, tailoring them to fit their own circumstances.
Export controls form an important part of the global effort to stem the proliferation of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons and materials. It is important therefore for states to ensure that their national implementation measures encompass effective export control systems.
