VERTIC congratulates the State of Palestine on acceding to the Chemical Weapons Convention. The State of Palestine deposited its instrument of accession with the UN Secretary-General (the Convention’s depositary) on 17 May 2018. The CWC will enter into force for the State of Palestine on 16 June 2018.
